Hart Center SeniorNet Class Guide

Pick the Best Class for your skill level:

  • Think about what you already know and what you want to learn.
  • Are you proficient with the mouse?  Can you click, double-click, and click, hold and drag to highlight or move an item?
  • Do you know when to click the left and right mouse buttons?
  • Do you know how to open and close a program?

Take an Intro to Computers class:

  • If you don’t have a computer or have not used one in a long time.
  • If you want to learn:
    • How and when to use the mouse.
    • How to cut, copy and paste.
    • How to open and close programs. 
    • What all those keys do on the keyboard.
  • IF YOU WANT TO LEARN THE BASICS

Take an Advanced class:

  • If you have been using a computer for a couple of years.
  • If you are proficient with the mouse.
  • If you know how to cut, copy and paste.
  • If you know where the Start button is and how to find and open a program.
  • If you know how to create a document, save it and find it again when you need it.
  • If you know the basics and want to learn more......
